This neighborhood is bordered on the east and west by trendy walkable neighborhoods, however, due to the presence of a railway yard and industrial areas, Interbay is not as walkable as its neighbors. There is, however, some retail businesses along 15th Avenue as well as offices and a small shopping area at West Davis Street with restaurants and other local services that are within walking distance.

The off-leash area is relatively flat and enclosed with a 4-foot double gated entrance. The surface is wood chipped and there is a wooded hillside adjacent to it.
