Dr. Christy Farber
Christy is originally from New Jersey and Australia. She completed her veterinary degree at the University of Sydney in 2004 followed by an internship at an emergency and specialty center, eventually continuing on as an emergency veterinarian. Since then, Christy has really developed a love of general practice and preventative care working for the last 8 years in San Francisco. She has a strong interest in companion animal pain management, rehabilitation therapy, behavior and environmental enrichment. In addition to her small animal work, Christy continues to nurture her passion for wildlife and the ocean as a regular volunteer at the Marine Mammal Center. Outside of work, Christy loves mountain biking, photography, cooking and occasionally attempting to surf with her husband, two children and family dog.
